My Journey on ‘Drinks and Dine’
Though I am not a very big fan of late-night venues, the first thing that comes to my mind about ‘Drinks & NightLife’ is none other than but a bustling bar, rocking crowd and of course good finger licking foods.
Kolkata being one of India’s metropolitan city takes an excessive pride in leading some of the stunning themed pubs, rooftop cocktail bars and trendy lounges that showcases overseas culture.
As my preference always stands for ‘Drink and Dine’ – a hip-hop club or lounge with a bar counter lined up with a great collection of imported liquors serving exclusive seasonal cocktails & draught brewed drinks while digging into fabulous finger food platters – my way of indulging into ‘Drinks and NightLife’.
I am here to draw the hangouts of my TEN MOST PREFERRED ‘Drinks and Dine’ destinations.

Chillis Bar And Grill
|
An American casual dining restaurant chain that features Tex-Mex-style cuisine, started its first outlet in Texas in 1975. Being explored this brand during my stay in the United States, they still meet my expectation in terms of succulent meaty selections and an attractive themed decor that reflects an American culture. The authentic Mexican platters served with a variety of dips, quesadillas, fajitas and desserts are the ones to die for. |

My place of best love, yes its the rocking, loud, musty Irish House – the Irish Sports bar on the fifth floor of the Quest Mall, that reflects an appealing ambience through the pure Irish themes by bringing the unique characteristics, culture and traditional music from the land of North Atlantic island – Ireland. One of the best pubs in town, I always die for to hang out with friends while chilling over a mug of beer off the tap and enjoying wide varieties of finger foods in a casual atmosphere. |

The one stop Rock Shop with its elegant and superb classy rustic decor and amazing mouth-watering food located on 2nd floor with a small souvenir shop on the ground floor at its entrance. Yes, this is my first visit to Hard Cafe in India after hitting its widespread chains across the sea – a highly energetic ‘Rock’ ’n’ ‘Roll‘ – themed cafe that opened its first outlet in London.
Here it goes that ‘everything is served in style‘ starting from starting from superb booze to classic American burgers. |

Thank God Its Friday
|
Thank God It’s Friday – may refer to the disco comedy film, directed by Robert Klane in 1978. But its time to party – it’s always Friday with a festive vibe sprawling all around. An American casual dining chain that offers a wide spread of hearty foods starting from its signature Jack Daniels burgers to steaks and an array of ultimate cocktail punches – a great place not only for the youngsters to hang out but recommended for a casual family get together. This is my another most wanted place to booz over and chill out with friends while enjoying the plush ambience of the bar and stuffing faces with Mexican platters. |
