Every time, we come across this word ‘Shed‘ –
It implies to a simple roof structure for shelter. The story of this cafe hails from its Shed – the ceiling structure is not a concrete one, rather a soft grey-white material called ‘asbestos’ which adds a rustic ambience to the whole look.
I would flag this joint – THE SHED as a ‘Sports Cafe‘ rather than just a CAFE, which has something very innovative and unique.
The occasion of the visit to this cafe was due to an invitation for bloggers meet hosted by the noted brand consultant – Luna Chatterjee.
The cafe was inaugurated by the noted Tollywood celeb actress Ms Rituparna Sengupta during the month of Feb’2018.

Dining Area
The dining section finally sprawls into A BIG SURPRISE, a huge playground with a bunch of exciting indoor board games that covers Dart, Carrom all bundled under the same roof with a wide live screen at one end and a fans gallery section on the other corner to cheer up the players as well. Its THE SHED’s PLAYZONE.
The playground is well equipped with imported Dartboards and professional dart kits.

Absolutely gives sports feel and vibes all around the cafe. A perfect sports lover’s hangout throwing the dart at the bullseye or hitting carom striker, cheering the buddies while sipping a cup of Darjeeling Tea or Foamed Cappuccino and munching finger licking foods.
Mr Rajkumar Bhattacharyya, the owner of this cafe is also a creative sports event designer and a big fan of board games as well. Bundling food with games is the ultimate outcome of his highly developed intellect.
THE SHED recently hosted a couple of tournaments – Dart Premiere League. That’s called “Hitting the Bullseye“.
